​About Me

​I was born in 1978 and, although I am not originally from Salento, this land welcomed me, won me over, and made me feel at home. My journey with painting began as a self-taught artist, driven by the desire to experiment with complete freedom: my first canvases were born as an instinctive play with abstract art, letting texture, color, and palette knife guide my hands. Later, to give shape and structure to this passion, I chose to attend drawing and painting courses at the Società Operaia di Mutuo Soccorso in Lecce, starting a path of continuous evolution.

​What I Wish to Share with You

​Through my canvases, I love to explore different inspirations: on one hand, the most authentic essence of the Salento landscape—woven from natural stone, dry-stone walls, and ancient pagliare immersed in the arid, luminous silence of the countryside; on the other hand, the expressive power of the human figure. In my portraits, painting does not seek the exact likeness of a face, but the shape of an emotion, the atmosphere of a distant place, or the suspension of a single moment.

​The rooms of B&B 900 house my paintings alongside works by other artists who reflect my personal vision of art. I deeply believe that every canvas possesses its own voice and the ability to unlock a feeling; this is why, as I love to say to my paintings, every artwork deserves its frame.

​Each room thus encapsulates a piece of this journey, aiming to offer whoever stays here a welcoming, authentic atmosphere filled with poetry.
